Go for green festival

On friday we had a film festival.It was "COOOOLLLL'' because the film's had interesting things like? animations,acting and pretending.Their was a lot of movies to watch in the school hall but geuss what? it was around about 30 different movies.Some of the movies i watched were my favourite!.number 1 was just my own ''FAVOURITE'' movie that me and my mates made.
number 2 is my other kind of movie?the second one was kind of ''A'' ok but it was a animation. It also had Bart Simpon on it and Humpty dumpty.

Motat

Yesterday at Motat room15 were learning about flight. It might of seemed really educative and interesting to look at the planes. We walked inside Motat past the doors and saw these planes. When I looked up at them I was just thinking about the parts of the plane.. like the wings' the blades'propellors 'the tail' the cockpit' the bombs everything. It just hooked me in to these kind of things. I even saw Jean Batten and Richard Pearce. I even went for a little look around but then I saw badges, books, engines.

They were all about Jean Batten and Richard Pearce. It was really cool. I also saw this bike plane. It looked like it was glued together and bits and peaces looked out of place. the bike seemed very dirty and rusty. I didn't know it was Richard Pearses bike plane because it was very old. The wings of the bike looked like garage roofs. When I saw this it looked like a junk plane.But it was actually a bike plane.Made around the 1900's in the old days.I was thinking about who owned this bike plane'where was it found'what was it made for and why was it put in the Motat museum. After we had a little dordlle around the invented bike plane we went to the hands on area.
When we where at the hands on area, we where playing with a lot of things like the dark light shadowy area, the handle turning dizzy table, the man on the bike that looks like Hayden Roulston has dot's on him , the touchable electrical ball,the colour wall,and the sound jandal slapper.When i was in the hands on area my favourite part of it was the handle turning dizzy table.The reason why i chose this favourite part of the hands on area is because you can get dizzy and laugh and get crazy.After the hands on area i saw something about George Bolt.It was pictures,engines,propellors and a video i watched.

Term3

In Term3 this year our topic we are learning about is we are the Champions.In assembly we saw Mr Jacobson riding on a bike across the Hall,then the whole intire school was trying to guess what he was.So then Nathaniel put his hand up and said!!! Sarah Ulmer,Mr Jacobson said!! NO darling like a girl. and everyone laughed and laughed and laughed.But then Mr Burt was walking all the way down to the end of the hall. Mr Burt asked us who he is!!.I knew he was a legendary horse rider that won a lot of awards like metals and trophy's.But i was too late because Feki already put his hand up and said Mark Todd!.after everybody couldn't even guess Mr Burt told all the team one teachers to come up on stage.I knew that Mrs Lao was a fire fighter and Mrs George was a mum who cleaned a champions trophy. And this teacher was a funny one?it was Mrs wild dressed up as Allblack Tana Umana Mrs wild is funny because she tried to act like him'she also had dreads on.Miss Katu was a basketball player and miss Va'afusuaga is a rugby sevens player.

The treaty of Waitangi was an agreement between the Maori and the Queen and it was signed in 1840. The treaty has 3 parts to it participation, partnership and protection.

The Pt England Way

Hi my name is Campbell. I've been at Pt England School for five years. I live in G.I. Auckland.
We are learning about the PtEngland Way. We learn about it because when we get into fights and stuff or swearing at others we get into trouble to much.

On our new year of 2008 we want to care about others. We were learning about this from our principal. This what makes us happy. Fights cant happen anymore even swearing because we have captain caring and his caring crew.
